Hard Rock Café

As with Hard Rock cafes elsewhere in the world, the Bangkok Hard Rock is a tourist attraction in its own right. On an hourly basis you can see people queuing up to have their picture taken with the restaurant/bar in the background

“Been there; done that”! Strangely, many people seem to turn up, buy the Hard Rock, Bangkok merchandise, and then leave! Doing this they miss out on a great entertainment experience. The main feature of the Hard Rock, Bangkok is live bands. They really do have some good bands playing – usually local, but foreign bands play with increasing regularity. It’s a fair sized place, but if you are coming for a quiet chat, come early – when the bands are on it’s more like a concert hall! The Hard Rock has tremendous food; a splendid range of burgers and steaks alongside ‘bar snacks’ such as onion rings and potato skins. They also have good desserts - try the ‘Mud Pie’. As with all Hard Rock Café’s, there are a lot of local and foreign beers and spirits to choose from. The service is excellent.
There’s a happy hour from 16:00-19:00, but although this chain was originally designed for travelers, they don’t charge discount prices anymore!
